It’s picnic time! We’re getting antsy about a new school year at Mizzou, and this indoor picnic at the new Independence Events Center is just the ant-i-dote! Bring the whole family to share Mizzou spirit with fun in the expanded Kids Zone for little Tigers, wine toss for the grown-ups, a big barbecue spread and the Marching Mizzou Alumni Band! The live and silent auctions include Mizzou items, entertainment packages, getaways and family fun. You’ll be able to check out the Missouri Wine Council’s tasting table, and shop for spirit items from Tiger Spirit.

The Independence Events Center is a great venue for the picnic. There’s easy access to the center at the I-70 and I-470 interchange in Independence, Mo., and lots of free parking.

Why do we do this? Well, it’s a lot of fun, but our big goal is to raise scholarship money for local high school graduates who will carry on the traditions of the best university in the nation!
